Brilliant Munir ends shabbir's winning run at Sindh Open golf

Despite scoring a double bogey and two bogeys, Ansar, who also hails from Islamabad, shot a par round for a total of 210. He also scored five birdies in the last round. He received runner-up purse of Rs103000.
Defending champion and winner of 16th CNS Open crown in the preceding event, Shabbir, had to be content with third position. He fired two under 70 to finish with 212.
Aurangzeb Khan of ASCC played the best round of three under 69 which envisaged with half-a-dozen birdies and two bogeys.
Ace golfer Sajid Khan of the ASCC became the new amateur champion succeeding Suffian Dhoduk. He beat M. Rehman of Rawalpindi by one stroke.
Asad I.A. Khan, the moving spirit behind Sindh golf, annexed the 36-hole senior amateurs’ title with a gross score of 164.
Pervez Ansari, Captain of the KGC, won the honours in net category with a score of 150.
