Saba, Sara reach final of Aisam-ul-Haq Masters



Saba Aziz and Sara Mansoor qualified for the women’s final at the Aisam-ul-Haq Masters Tennis Championship after winning their respective semi-final matches at the PTF Complex here on Wednesday.
In the first semi-final, top seed Saba did not give any room to Kunsha Babar throughout the match with her powerful cross-court shots.
Sara won the match 6-0, 6-0. In the other semi-final, Sara outclassed Rukhsana Fazal 6-0, 6-0.
Meanwhile, in the men’s singles event top seed Aqeel Khan will meet younger brother Jalil Khan in the final.
In the first semi-final Aqeel eliminated Yasir Khan 6-4, 6-2 while Jalil thrashed Mohammad Abid 6-4, 6-2 in the other semi-final.

Semi-finals: Aqeel Khan bt Yasir Khan 6-4, 6-2; Jalil Khan bt Mohammad Abid 6-4, 6-2.
Ladies Singles:
Semi-finals: Saba Aziz bt Kunsha Babar 6-0, 6-0; Sara Mansoor bt Rukhsana Fazal 6-0, 6-0.
U-18 singles:
Semi-finals: Mohammad Abid bt Ahmed Chaudhry 6-2, 6-0; Usman Rafiq bt Hasnain Manzoor 6-2, 6-1.
Boys Under-14 singles:
Semi-finals: Mohammad Mudassir bt Zaid Mujahid 7-6(1), 6-3; Hasnain Manzoor bt M. Muzammil 6-2, 6-2
