Latif could be on his way out as Afghanistan coach:

Pakistan’s former captain, Rashid Latif, is reportedly contemplating his exit as Afghanistan coach, Cricinfo reported.
According to the report, Latif thinks that some of his team’s players underperformed on purpose on the recently concluded tour of Pakistan where Afghanistan lost the series 3-0 to Pakistan A because they want their former coach Kabir Khan back.
Latif, whose contract with Afghanistan expires on July 31, might not extend it due to the differences between him and the board members.
Afghanistan’s team manager Sahif Aswat said that the dressing room atmosphere was generally pleasant and there were no disagreements.
“The players respect Latif as the coach,” Aswat told Cricinfo.
He said that the board was trying to negotiate a new contract but if it did not work out, they would have to get a new coach. Latif led Afghanistan to victory over Pakistan in the Asian Games T20 semi-final last year.
